Why does loving someone evoke so much pain in our hearts? Is it weakness on our part, or selfishness on theirs? Is one weak to believe that love can withstand all trials and tribulations, or is it considered being strong within oneself?

Love...we all need it...want it...deserve it...but at what cost? Do we need to lose ourselves along the way, or do we find who we truly are meant to be.

Love...can be a treasured gift...for when it is truly felt from deep within one's heart...it feeds the soul.

Love...can be magical...moments become filled with endless rainbows. It allows you to enjoy the simplicity life offers...a stroll in the park...feeding the ducks at the pond...a picnic inside the car when it rains...a slow dance inside the movie theater...listening to the laughter of children play close by.

Love infuses...honesty...in oneself and towards others...

A mother's love...is the purest love anyone can experience. It comes freely, with no conditions.

 

The roads of life...where do they actually take us? Have you ever wondered if life gives us certain roads to take to make us become aware of things we have not noticed.

Reflecting...have you taken the time to reflect on your life. Is it all you wished for or is there something not yet achieved? We may rarely take the time to think about how we have reached were we are in our life, and if it is everything we want it to be. I often feel it is the journey on how you reached to where you are that is significant. The journey of ones' life can be empowering and strengthening if we allow it to. So I ask you to reflect and take some time and think. Is your life everything you want it to be? If not...take the journey.

Shall we sit back and let life take us by the hand towards the direction it seeks for us? Life flowers us with opportunities for us to decide what to do with, but how is that we make these life changing decisions without knowing if it will be for the best.

How do we know which road we take in life? Is it by instinct or is it by what we think is the right one. What if we take the road that is by our instinct and it feels as if it the right one, because emotionally it feels right and good. What if the road we logically think is the right one, does not make us feel good, but it is still right.

The decisions we make in life affect so many others around us...Do we need to take into consideration how others will feel, even if it isn't what you want. What if we make a decision based on solely how we feel? Is it a selfish act if we don't take others' feelings into mind?

Love is such a strong emotion that leaves us wondering how do we live without it. What happens when you find someone that can never be yours? Do you wait? Do you dream the impossible? Do you let it go? What if it is a love that you have been waiting for all of your life? A love that is so emotionally, physically, and intimately connected, that it leaves you breathless and wanting it more and more each day. Is it our rite to have it? To want it? To live without it?

The Rose

We are like a rose, each of us unique and beautiful in our own self rite. They are delicate by nature, much like each of us. It is no surprise though that they withstand the toughest conditions, much like each of us. We are like a rose.
