The door closes and I am waiting for another to open. How do we know if it is the right door for us? When they say waiting is the hardest thing, they did not lie. So, what am I waiting for? How do I know what it is that I truly want to accomplish? Will I know? I enjoyed the journey of the last fifteen years, but now I await for the next direction to take me to higher and greater meaning in my life. I will miss the sounds of the last fifteen years...the laughter of the children when I come into the room and sing to them in Spanish...when they play twister and say the colors and body parts in Spanish...when they laugh as I re-create The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It has been a joy teaching these young students and they will never know how much teaching them has given me such fulfillment in my life. I look forward to opening the next door, until then I will enjoy the moments until the door opens.

Did you ever ask yourself why we choose the roads we follow and what if that road takes you to an unexpected path? How is it that you chose this path and was it fate or coincidence? Do you believe in fate, and if you do what if that fate brought you to a path that you did not ever wish to ever take. Then what, do you cross that path with optimism or just find another one. Does it scare you when the obstacles seem to far for you to reach that goal or dream? What happens when you fall and no one is there to catch you? Do you brush it off and learn from it, or place blame on someone or something. How about being brave, is it something you learn or born with, the never-ending case of nurture vs. nature. We all have moments when we feel that we would be able to be brave and uphold the obstacles we are presented with, but what if we feel weak, are we still considered to have brave qualities. Perhaps, it is still brave if one just says, "I'll will try again tomorrow."
Follow the road that will lead you towards the path of gaining closer to your true self. We all have to gain confidence in making our dreams a reality, it just does not happen by itself. Those roads that we take and lead us to those moments in our life that take our breath away, are the ones we need to keep close to our heart, for those are the memories that will lift us in those times of despair and confusion. It will bring us back and remind us of our true purpose on this road of life. The burning desire to be, who we are meant to be. Remember, it the journey of those roads we take and not the destination that is of greatest importance, for the journey is where we learn about ourselves.
